Seiko SNJ035P1 is a watch from the Prospex collection.
The PADI Arnie Hybrid Diver's 40th Anniversary is a modern reinterpretation of the Seiko "Hybrid diver's" watch released in 1982 by Seiko as a hybrid combination of analog and digital watch technology. The original watch proved its reliability in extreme environments, including the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition in 1984 and the Joint Mount Everest Challenge carried out by the Japanese, Chinese and Nepalese team in 1988.
It is also called "Arnie", in homage to Arnold Schwarzenegger who personally owned it and wore it in the hugely popular 80s movies "Commando" and "Predator".
The new H855 caliber has been updated with improved visibility for diving, with a larger display at 6 o'clock. It also features dive log, depth gauge and temperature measurement functions.
The strap is made of silicone, convenient, light and comfortable.
The outer case is reinforced to make it strong yet lightweight, while the bezel and minute hand have blue indexes for better readability, even in deep water.
