Seiko Presage SRPK61J1 60th Anniversary Limited Edition 39.50 mm. The Crown Chronograph 1964, inspiration for the Presage Style60's series, will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2024. To celebrate this anniversary, the new limited edition Presage watch is faithful to the design of the Crown Chronograph 1964. The 1964 Crown Chronograph was the first wristwatch from Seiko and Japan equipped with a stopwatch function. The timepiece had several revolutionary functions for its time and marked the beginning of Seiko's production of chronograph wristwatches. The case takes up the design of the original model, while maintaining the case diameter at 39.5 mm to better adapt to new modern tastes. Inheriting the design of the 1964 Crown Chronograph, the new creation expresses a vintage style thanks to the use of box-shaped glass. The five rows of links are used to keep the bracelet design as similar as possible to the original. Their short length ensures an even more comfortable fit on the wrist. The watch is presented in a specially designed special box with a vintage look and feel of the era.
The watch is equipped with an automatic movement with manual winding capacity, caliber 4R35 with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It is equipped with a second hand stop function. The steel case is 12mm thick, 39.5mm in diameter and is equipped with square-shaped Hrdlex glass; dial with lumibrite on hands and indexes. It is water resistant up to 5 bar (50 meters). It weighs 131 grams, and has the following characteristics: LIMITED EDITION on the case back; Serial number engraved on the case back; Transparent case back / Screw case back.
