This 1/4 oz pure gold commemorative coin is a beloved collector's item to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch in the world. The reverse of the coin includes five effigies of Queen Elizabeth II, each of which features coins produced by the Perth Mint. In the center is the most recent effigy of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark (2019), elegantly framed in a decorated design. Around it are four previous effigies: Ian Rank-Broadley (1998) at the top left, Raphael Maklouf (1985) at the bottom left, Arnold Machin (1966) at the bottom right, and Mary Gillick (1953) at the top right. Together, these portraits reflect the evolving image of the monarch over seven decades of her historical reign.
The background features Australia's national floral emblem, the golden wattle, symbolizing the nation's connection with the Commonwealth. Arranged clockwise from above, there are the motifs of the Crown of St. Edward, the Sphora of the Sovereign, the Tudor Rose and the Scepter of the Sovereign, each of which means key elements of tradition and royal authority. Around the drawing there is the inscription 'S.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 100th ANNIVERSARY', accompanied by stylized dots, the date of the year 2026 and the "P" mark of the Perth Mint.
