DECLARATION REGARDING THE PROTECTION AND AUTHORIZATION OF PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)

The protection of personal data is a matter of trust and the trust of users is the basis of the relationship that Cicala intends to establish. For this reason, Cicala respects the private and personal sphere of its users and observes any applicable law relating to the processing of personal data. With this declaration, Cicala intends to inform the user about the detection and use of personal data and request their consent in order to use them for certain purposes.

By viewing Section 1, the user will be informed of the methods of detection and use of personal data in the context of navigation on the Cicala site and of any orders. If you have already given your consent to a particular use of your data (newsletter, VIP card, etc.), the user can directly view the second paragraph, concerning the field of action and the rights of opposition and oblivion. The user can also browse the Cicala website without having to release personal data. While browsing, at no time will it be possible for Cicala to identify the user, who will remain anonymous, unless he decides to connect by typing his Username (e-mail address) and Password.

1 - Collection and general use of data

 

1.1 Data collection and processing

To provide the contractual services we need the data mainly for the following purposes:

 

  • Provide and / or customize Cicala products and services
  • Communicate with you, for example about product orders, shipments and billing
  • Offer pleasant shopping experiences modulated on user preferences
  • Marketing and advertising communications addressed to the user

 

ORDER - Cicala collects and processes user data for the execution of purchase orders, for any complaints after the purchase and to provide the user with the services available. These data are necessary for order management, including with business partners (e.g. logistics providers, couriers, banks). It is essential to enter a correct delivery address to order products. A telephone number is also necessary in order to allow Cicala to contact the user for any questions or requests for clarification, and for the shipment of products by courier. Finally, the e-mail address is necessary for Cicala in order to communicate to the user the confirmation of receipt of the order and for any other communications. The e-mail address is also used when identifying the user during the "login". The Fiscal Code is necessary in compliance with current legal provisions for purchases of an amount equal to or greater than € 3660.00 for any checks by the competent bodies or if the user requests the issuance of an invoice.

 

RESERVED AREA (ACCOUNT) AND LOGIN - The data concerning the user's orders are saved in the Cicala system. Cicala guarantees each user access to the reserved area, using a protected password. In this area, it is possible to view all the data regarding the orders concluded, the orders in progress and those sent recently and it is also possible to manage your personal data and those relating to the subscription to the newsletter service. The Customer is obliged to treat the access data responsibly and in compliance with the regulations and not to disclose them to third parties. Cicala will not be in any way responsible for an incorrect or improper use of the password by the user.

 

ADVERTISING - Cicala may use the user's data also for promotional purposes, to send information on the items offered on the Cicala website and in its stores. The user's e-mail address will be used exclusively within the limits prescribed by applicable legislation or, where necessary, after the release of specific authorization by the user. The user who gives consent to be contacted for advertising purposes by Cicala will receive advice on purchases by e-mail. You can stop sending the aforementioned promotional messages free of charge by making a request via e-mail to support@cicala.it or by removing the "Receive newsletter" option in the personal reserved area.

 

1.2 DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY THE USER

The personal data provided by the user through contact forms are collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • For carrying out customer relationship activities based on contractual agreements.
  • For administrative purposes and for the fulfillment of legal obligations such as those of an accounting, tax nature, or to process requests from the judicial authority;
  • In the presence of specific consent, for the periodic sending, by e-mail, of newsletters and advertising material;
  • In the presence of specific consent, to receive updates on our activities and reports on the publication of our blog posts;
  • In the presence of specific consent, to receive promotional communications and invitations to events;
  • In the case of sending curriculum vitae, exclusively for selection purposes.

The legal basis that legitimizes the processing is the execution of a contract of which the interested party is a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same. In the cases expressly indicated, the legal basis is the consent freely provided by the interested party.

 

1.3 DATA GENERATED BY ACCESS TO THE SITE

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These data (such as domain names, IP addresses, operating system used, type of browser device used for connection) are not accompanied by any additional personal information and are used for:

  1. Obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site;

Google uses this information in order to analyze the customer's usage habits of the website, provide Cicala with reports on visits to the website and for other communications relating to the use of the website and the internet. Google transmits this information to third parties where it is required by law or in the event that third parties process such data on behalf of and on behalf of Google. Although it is not possible to guarantee absolute protection, Cicala has adopted the best security measures for its systems against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of user data by unauthorized third parties.

 

1.6 HOTJAR

Hotjar is a service adopted by Cicala.it VAT number 02252790106 to collect aggregate statistics. In particular, Hotjar tracks clicks, mouse movements in real time and page scrolling. Hotjar also records details such as the pages visited, the actions performed by the user on the page, the type of device and the browser used to view the site. In addition to monitoring user behavior, Hotjar integrates additional polling and polling features. Hotjar does not record any personal information, the data are therefore transmitted in a totally anonymous form and no profiling activity is carried out. 2 - CONSENT AND AUTHORIZATIONS

Naturally, the user can also contact Cicala anonymously or with a pseudonym (for example, through a free e-mail address that does not reveal his name). Cicala uses the data collected as part of the processing of newsletters in order to customize and adapt the services to the interests and preferences of the user, as well as for promotional purposes and market studies. The data collected will be processed using electronic or in any case automated, IT and telematic tools, or through manual processing with logic strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data were collected and, in any case, in order to guarantee the security of the same in any case. . The data are kept for the time strictly necessary to manage the purposes for which the data are collected in compliance with current regulations and legal obligations. In any case, Cicala practices rules that prevent the storage of data indefinitely and therefore limits the storage time in compliance with the principle of minimization of data processing.

 

CONTENT OF THE AUTHORIZATIONS - The authorization issued here has been registered in Cicala's systems. Cicala is required to make the content of the authorizations accessible at any time. The user can revoke his authorization at any time, with effect for the future.

 

3 - SUBJECTS AUTHORIZED TO PROCESS, RESPONSIBLE AND COMMUNICATION OF DATA

The data collected may also be transferred abroad, to companies that are and are not part of our corporate group, even outside the European Union in the forms and methods provided for by current legislation, guaranteeing in any case an adequate level of protection. In any case, personal data will never be disclosed.

 

4 - RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

 

In accordance with the provisions of the law on the protection of personal data, the user has the right to access their personal data for free and to modify, delete or block access. Cicala protects personal data with rigor and professionalism.
