The protection of personal data is a matter of trust and the trust of users is the basis of the relationship that Cicala intends to establish. For this reason, Cicala respects the private and personal sphere of its users and complies with any applicable law concerning the processing of personal data. With this declaration, Cicala intends to inform the user about the collection and use of personal data and request their consent in order to use them for certain purposes.

By viewing Section 1, the user will be informed of the methods of detection and use of personal data in the context of browsing the Cicala website and any orders. ORDER - Cicala collects and processes user data for the execution of purchase orders, for any claims subsequent to purchase and to provide the user with the services available. These data are necessary for the management of orders, even with commercial partners (for example, logistics providers, couriers, banks). It is essential to enter a correct delivery address to order the products. A telephone number is also necessary in order to allow Cicala to contact the user for any questions or requests for clarification, and for the shipment of the products by courier. The e-mail address is finally necessary to Cicala to be able to communicate to the user the confirmation of receipt of the order and for any other communications. The e-mail address is also used when the user is identified during the "login". The Tax Code is necessary in compliance with the current legal provisions for purchases of an amount equal to or greater than € 3660.00 for any checks by the competent bodies or if the user requires the issuance of an invoice.

RESERVED AREA (ACCOUNT) AND LOGIN - The data concerning the user's orders are saved in the Cicala system. Cicala guarantees each user access to the reserved area, using a protected password. In this area, it is possible to view all the data regarding the concluded orders, the orders in progress and those sent recently, and it is also possible to manage your personal data and those relating to the subscription of the newsletter service. The Customer is required to treat access data responsibly and in compliance with the regulations and not to disclose them to third parties. Cicala will not be in any way responsible for an incorrect or improper use of the password by the user.

ADVERTISING - Cicala may also use user data for promotional purposes, to send information about the items offered on the Cicala website and in its stores. The user's e-mail address will be used only within the limits prescribed by the applicable law or, where necessary, after the release of a specific authorization by the user. The user who gives consent to be contacted for advertising purposes by Cicala will receive advice on purchases via e-mail. It is possible to interrupt the dispatch of the aforementioned promotional messages by sending a request by e-mail to or by removing the "Receive newsletter" option in the personal area reserved.


The personal data provided by the user through contact forms are collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • To carry out customer relationship activities based on contractual agreements.
  • For administrative purposes and for the fulfillment of legal obligations such as, for example, those of an accounting, fiscal nature, or to execute requests from the judicial authority;
  • In the presence of specific consent, for the periodic sending, via e-mail, of newsletters and advertising material;
  • In the presence of specific consent, to receive updates on our activities and reports on the publication of our blog posts;
  • In the presence of specific consent, to receive promotional communications and invitations to events;
  • In the case of sending a curriculum vitae, exclusively for selection purposes.

In the cases expressly indicated the legal basis is the consent freely provided by the interested part.


The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These data (such as domain names, IP addresses, operating system used, type of browser device used for connection) are not accompanied by any additional personal information and are used for:

Google uses this information in order to analyze the usage habits of the website by the customer, providing Cicala with reports on visits to the website and for other communications relating to the use of the website and the internet. Google transmits this information to third parties where required by law or in the event that third parties process such data on behalf of Google. Google will never put the user's IP address in connection with other Google data. It should be noted, however, that in this way the user will not be able to take full advantage of certain site functions. Customer's personal data is transferred in encrypted form. This applies to orders and confidential access by the Customer. For this purpose the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technique is used. Although it is not possible to guarantee absolute protection, Cicala has adopted the best security measures for its systems against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of user data by unauthorized third parties.

Hotjar is a service adopted by VAT number 02252790106 to collect aggregate statistics. In particular, Hotjar tracks clicks, mouse movements in real time and page scrolling. Hotjar also records details such as the pages visited, the actions taken by the user on the page, the type of device and the browser used to view the site. In addition to monitoring user behavior Hotjar integrates additional polling and polling features. Hotjar does not record any personal information, the data is therefore transmitted in a totally anonymous form and no profiling activity is performed. REGISTRATION TO THE NEWSLETTER - In the newsletter the user will find information on advantageous offers from time to time. Cicala invites the user to enter personal data (for example, his / her name) in the newsletter settings, so that Cicala can personally contact the user. Naturally the user can contact Cicala also anonymously or with a pseudonym (for example, by means of a free e-mail address that does not reveal his / her name). Cicala uses the data collected in the processing of the newsletters in order to personalize and adapt the services to the interests and preferences of the user, as well as for promotional purposes and market studies.

The data collected will be processed by electronic or automated, computerized and telematic means, or by manual processing with logic strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data was collected and, in any case, in order to guarantee the security of the same in each case.

The data is stored for the time strictly necessary for the management of the purposes for which the data is collected in compliance with current regulations and legal obligations. In any case, Cicala practices rules that prevent the storage of data indefinitely and therefore limits the storage time in compliance with the principle of minimization of data processing.

CONTENT OF THE AUTHORIZATIONS - The authorization issued here was registered in Cicala's systems. Cicala is required to make the content of the authorizations accessible at all times. The user can revoke his authorization at any time, with effects for the future.


The processing of the data collected is carried out by Cicala internal personnel, identified for this purpose and authorized for processing in accordance with specific instructions issued in compliance with current legislation.

  • Companies, organizations, associations that perform services connected and instrumental to the execution of the above-mentioned purposes (market analysis and research service, credit card payment management, IT system maintenance).

The data collected may also be transferred abroad, to companies that are part of and not part of our corporate group, even outside the European Union in the forms and ways provided for by the current legislation, guaranteeing in any case an adequate level of protection. In any case, personal data will never be disclosed.
